Rescued/Fostered Dogs

Though 4 have become permanent adopted residents, rescuing various shelties form animal shelters and fostering them where necessary has been an equally rewarding experience.  The day starts with arrival at the shelter, waiting for them to bring out this cute little (typically shaking) ball of fur, knowing that the poor thing is scared and confused, and possibly mistreated and malnourished.  That initial trusting contact, getting them acclimated to a caring environment and then watching them demonstrate the unconditional love they are all capable of, is a wonderful process to be part of.  From there, it is fun to watch them progress and find a permanent home they can finally be safe and secure in.  Here are some of the rescue/fosters I have been involved in since moving to Austin:
